The United States spy ring investigation has spread to Canada, with an announcement, by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. lan MacKenzie, that one of the suspects indicated at Washington had been visiting Montreal. The announcement recalls Mr R. B. Bennett’s allegation in the Canadian House of Commons, that a German named Gerhard was engaged secretly i.n organising Nazis throughout Canada.
