WON BY ROSEWELL (Recd This Day, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, June 22. The Irish Derby resulted: — Rosewell 1 Golden Sovereign 2 Manorite 3 Nine horses started. Won by two lengths, with three qarters of a length between second and third. NORTHUMBERLAND DERBY. WON BY UNION JACK. (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, June 22. The Northumberland Plate, run at Newcastle, resulted: — Union Jack 1 Celibate II 2 Hurry de Savoie 3 Twelve horses started. Won by a head, with the same distance between second and third horses.
