TONNAGE AGREEMENT
AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN. DIVISION OF CARGOES. (Recd This Day. 9.25 a.m.) TOKIO, June 21. It is understood that Australian and Japanese shipping interests have virtually reached a tonnage agreement, under which Japanese vessels will carry 771 per cent of AustralianJapanese cargo. The remainder will be allotted to Australian vessels.
