LONDON STOCK MARKETS RESPOND. WIDESPREAD GAINS EXCEPT IN GILT-EDGED STOCKS. (Recd This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, June 21. Owing to a brighter international outlook and an overnight improvement in Wall Street, the stock markets are appreciably busier, with widespread gains, with the exception of gilt-edged stocks.
