FORESTERS MEET

OFFICERS INSTALLED. BRO. COLEY '"THE NEW C.R. The half yearly meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise, A.0.F., was held on Monday night when there was a large attendance of members presided over by C.R., Bro. R. L. Crocker. The sick visitors reported that the members on the sick list were progressing satisfactorily. The secretary reported that one brother had declared on the funds. A letter was received from the Hospital Association stating that the annual meeting would be held on July 13. Bros. J. Barr and G. G. Jackson were appointed delegates to attend the meeting. Bro. R. L. Crocker, C.R., welcomed two visiting brethren in the manner customary with Foresters. Bro. J. Ban - reported on the Dispensary Board meeting; Bro. Davies reported on the U.F.S. Council card tournament and Bro. Leigh reported on the indoor bowls and the Saturday night card tournament. Bro. R. L. Crocker installed Bro. T. N. N. Coley as C.R. for the ensuing term. Bro. T. N. N. Coley installed Bro. C. A. Leigh as S.C.R.; Bro. H. C. Stewart as S.W.; Bro. R. Walker as J.W.; Bro. S. V. Sharman as 5.8.; Bro. G. Selby as J. 8.; Bro. G. G. Jackson as treasurer, and Bro. G. L. Scrivener as secretary.

The three trustees, Bros. A. W. Chapman, 11. E. Gardner and J. Barr were re-elected, the fullest confidence in their work being expressed. The retiring C.R., Bro. R. L. Crocker, thanked the members for the loyal support and assistance given to him during his term of office. The newly installed officers thanked the members for having elected them to their respective offices. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £63 Is 8d were passed for payment. One friend was proposed for membership and was accepted. At the close of business, supper was served, after which the members indulged in a very enjoyable game of indoor bowls. It has been decided that the ritual practices commence almost immediately, and members wishing to take office are requested to attend these practices so that they may become efficient to take office when occasion arises. The next meeting will be held on July 4 when the secretary will place before the lodge the half-yearly returns and balance sheet.
