Saturday gave Hastings its first experience of all-Saturday sport, and many people were rather interested to see how it would be possible to cater for football, hockey, basketball, golf, etc., under existing facilities. A review of the position shows that it was handled particularly well, and due to the spreading of the attractions on various grounds, there was no serious overloading. but as there will be more and more players, as the public setles down to the new holiday arrangements, the congestion is likely to come, and will probably only be relieved when the new sportsground is made avatilable at Nelson Park.
