By nine points to four the Bush Rugby representatives defeated the Wairarapa fifteen at Pahiatua today. Scorers for Bush were M. Connell, D. Luke and Staples. For Wairarapa D. Nunn potted a goal. The ground was very heavy and play was mostly confined to the forwards. The Bush pack was superior to Wairarapa’s, and the Bush backs were more solid. The referee was Mr J. Fulton.
