THEFT OF CLOTHING
MAN SENT TO GAOL FOR SIX MONTHS By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, This Day. Joseph McCarthy, who deserted his ship in February, 1937, and has spent most of the intervening time in gaol was sentenced by Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., to six months’ imprisonment for the theft of two pairs of trousers, an overcoat and a dressing gown at Patea, and two suits at Waverley.
