PREPARATIONS FOR RECEPTION IN PARIS MAMMOTH UNION JACK FOR EIFFEL TOWER SALUTE OF 101 GUNS TO BE FIRED (Recd This Day, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, June 20. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Paris correspondent says the biggest Union Jack ever manufactured will be hoisted on ' the Eiffel Tower as 101 guns’ shots will be fired in honour of their Majesties, the King and Queen of England. The flag has a surface of 1500 square yards, and weights 600 pounds. Thirteen men and three capstans will be required to hoist it.
