KID GLOVES

METHOD OF RESTORATION. Take a basin of fresh milk and a piece of good yellow soap. Spread out the gloves and, dipping a piece of flannel in the milk, rub off a little of the soap with it. Then start to rub the gloves down well from end to end, keeping in one direction all the time. Renew the cloth with milk and soap as often as needed until every bit of the glove surface has been covered. Put the gloves aside to dry, after which they should be quite fresh and shiny again.
