DURING RECENT VISIT TO VIENNA ACCORDING TO FRENCH WRITER. SHOTS FIRED IN STREETS. (Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, June 19. Madame Tabouis, writing in the “Sunday Referee,” declares that two attempts on Herr Hitler’s life were made during his recent visit to Vienna. A shot was fired from a window while he was speaking in the Heldenplatz and a shot was fired from the street while Herr Hitler' was crossing to his car, which was hit. The would-be assassins were not caught, consequently rigorous measures are being taken in anticipation of another- pending expected visit by the Fuehrer to Vienna.
