HEALTH CAMP CONCERT PARTY

Another delightful entertainment will be given by the Health Camp Concert Party on Thursday next at the Opera House in aid of the Otaki Children’s Health Camp and Trust Lands Trust (Opera House Furnishing Fund). The new performers who will take part will be Frank Pool’s Blue River Orchestra, Miss Adelaide Burnett, Wellington’s champion Scottish dancer and her pupils in a variety of dances, Mrs J. Moss, Walter Johansen and William McMichael in songs, Doug. Wellington, Rex and Ross Riley in concerted numbers and a ballet by Miss Hazel Lock’s pupils. In addition there will be Mrs Evelyn Oliver and her Maori maidens in songs, accompanied by four guitars, Sid Gerand and his clever little dog, “Teddy,” the Hamua Glee Party, Noeline Graham and Valmai Price in dances and Harry Hall in new humorous character songs. Family prices will be charged—dress circle and front stalls 1/6, back stalls 1/-. Tickets can be obtained at the Trust Lands Trust Office. Mr W. Dickson will be stage manager and Miss Nona Mulvey and Mr Jack Stewart will be the accompanists.
