Mr and Mrs J. Laing. Wainui-oru, are spending a fortnight in Auckland. Mrs G. W. Sellar, Colombo Road, Masterton. is staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs Hornsby and Miss Telford, Carterton, are staying at Raumati Beach. Miss N. Williams, of Victoria Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss Molly Meyer, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs W. H. Saunders, of Essex Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs L. Denton, Havelock North, are spending the weekend with Miss Daniell, Albert Street, Masterton. Mrs Robbie, of Auckland, and formerly of Masterton, is visiting the town. Miss A. lorns, who has recently returned from a visit to England, is staying with Mrs J. M. James, Wangaehu. Miss Bellis, Pownall Street, Masterton, who has been staying with Mrs McCrae, New Plymouth, has returned to Masterton. Mrs Horsbrugh, of Whareama, has returned home after having been the guest of Mrs C. Wright, of Church Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs H. McLaren, Paraparaumu, are spending a few days with Mr and Mrs E. P. Cameron, ’’PahaUa,” Hinakura. The friends of Mrs R. Gyde, Mauriceville North, will regret to learn that her health is causing anxiety. She is at present an inmate of the Masterton Hospital. Miss Thelma Denbee, Wellington, is spending the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs T. T. Denbee, Renall Street, Masterton. Miss Denbee is to Be one of the bridesmaids at Miss Ivy Carle’s wedding this evening. The marriage of Ada Dorothea, daughter of Mrs C. and the late Mr A. Doig, of Wellington, to Herbert Maurice, only son of Mr and Mrs F. J. Rawlings, of Broadway, Carterton, was celebrated in Carterton on Saturday last. Mr and Mrs H. M. Rawlings will reside in Carterton. The following are visitors to Masterton for the Falloon—Rutherford wedding:—Miss Mavis Giddings, Mrs I. B. Stewart, Mr and Mrs J. P. McKay, Miss McWhirter, Mr and Mrs J. T. Rutherford, Mrs J. W. Falloon (Wellington), Misses Elsie Stewart, Grace Meuli, Christabel Lye, and Jeanne de Latour (Palmerston North), Mrs Hugh Miller (Manaia).
