OAMARU STUD

PURCHASED BY QUEENSLAND SPORTSMAN. SYDNEY, June 15. The “Herald” states that the famous Elderslie Stud, at Oamaru, has been purchased by a Queensland sportsman, Mr E. Steele, who has also purchased the adjoining property, Windsor Park, for a residence. The thoroughbreds at present at Elderslie are to be auctioned and a new company is to be formed to carry on the business of the Elderslie Stud.
