BACK AT WORK
MR CHAMBERLAIN RECEIVES CALLERS.
MINISTERS & AMERICAN AMBASSADOR.
RUGBY. June 13.
The Prime Minister, Mr Chamberlain, was back at work at 10 Downing Street today. Among his visitors was the United States Ambassador, who is leaving London on Wednesday to make a visit to the United States.
Other callers during the course of the day included the Colonial Secretary, Mr Malcolm Macdonald, the Secretary for Air, Sir Kingsley Wood, and the Foreign Secretary. Lord Halifax.
The Postmaster-General. Mr G. C. Tryon, is making a very satisfactory recovery after his recent operation for acute appendicitis. He hopes to resume his Parliamentary duties before the House adjourns for the summer recess.
