TO GERMAN SUBMARINE SEAMEN SMALLER MONUMENT REPLACED • BERLIN. June 13. In commemoration of 5000 members of the crews of German submarines who lost their lives in the war, a 70ft column was dedicated at Kiel Bay today. replacing a smaller memorial. Two stone halls adjoin the column, one containing a piece of sculpture dedicated to the crews of sunk submarines. the other enshrining four bocks containing the names of the dead inscribed in gold letters.
