GUARD FATALLY INJURED
WANGANUI, June 12. 1 Fatal injuries were received by James Harper, aged 46, railway guard, when he slipped when. attempting to beard the van of “the 2.45 train from Wanganui to Marton on Saturday afternoon. He was dragged under the van and received shocking injuries to his chest and arms.
