By a penalty fall, awarded when his opponent knocked him down with a blow of the clenched fist to his jaw, Lofty Blomfield heat the American cowboy, Dick Raines, in an .exciting bout at the Town Hall, Wellington, on Saturday night. Raines showed himself a clever but lawless -wrestler and the referee, Mr Alf Jenkins, found it difficult at times to curb him. A large crowd watched the contest. FRALEY DEFEATS KENNEDY. NEW PLYMOUTH. June 12. Fast and clever wrestling was seen when Pat Fraley gained a points decision over Jack Kennedy after each had gained a fall.
