In a twelve-round non-title professional boxing contest last night, before a moderate house, Les Adams, of Ashburton (lOst 31b), took the second recent points decision over Neville Mudgway of Auckland (lOst 51b). New Zealand welter-weight champion. The bout was fought at close quarters practically throughout, Adams receiving the verdict on his aggression.
