FRENCH PREMIER WARNS SPANISH REBELS Measures Against Intruding Planes AIR FIGHTING ON CASTELLON FRONT By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright. LONDON, June 10. A Paris dispatch states that the Prime Minister, M. Daladier, was loudly applauded in the Chamber of Deputies when he declared: “From now on if an aeroplane flies over our frontier we shall open Are.” Three squadrons of French fighting planes have taken up patrol duties along the Pyrenees frontier as a sequel to a bomb being dropped on French soil on Sunday. From Barcelona it is reported that 41 loyalist fighting machines encountered 53 rebel planes on the Castellon front. The loyalists lost three planes. Through a rebel bombing of the east coast two women and a child were killed and 19 people wounded. The British steamer Stanray is reported from Valencia to have been machine-gunned by a lone seaplane. There were no casualties. The rebels bombed an unidentified merchantman at Beni Cassim, killing 12 and wounding nine. GANDIA BOMBED AGAIN. PROTEST BY SEVEN CAPTAINS OF BRITISH SHIPS. LONDON, June 10. A Madrid message states that insurgents again bombed Gandia and considerably damaged British warehouses. British cruisers are expected to arrive today. „ . , , The damage to Gandia is estimated at £lO,OOO. A schooner was sunk. A Valencia dispatch states it is revealed that the crew of the Fiench steamer Brisbane, which was bombed at Denia, were machine-gunned as they were going ashore in an open boat. Seven captains of British ships have lodged protests with the British Consul, stating that evidence overwhelmingly indicates that attacks on neutral shipping are deliberate. Planes fly low and use bombs and machine-guns with the greatest accuracy. RAID ON VALENCIA. ANOTHER BRITISH STEAMER SINKING AT ALICANTE. (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) MADRID, June 11.
