THE DOPE RING
WOMAN LIVING IN LONDON WANTED IN FRANCE
EXTRADITION APPLIED FOR
LONDON, June 9. Following their arrest of the multimillionaire restaurateur, Louis Lyon, which they claim unmasks the world’s greatest dope ring, the French police have applied for the extradition from Britain of Mrs Vitorine Salti, who is alleged to be a close friend of Lyon, says the Paris correspondent of the “Daily Mail.” Her husband, who manages a lingerie shop in Paris, says his wife was born in England and lives there permanently.
The Surete previously asked Scotland Yard to interview Mrs Salti, who then consented to go to Paris and submit to questioning.
