Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.06. Shade temperature: Maximum 62.0, minimum 31.2, terrestrial 22.7. .Sunshine, 8 hours 51 min. Frost, 7.7 degrees. General situation: An anti-cyclone of slight intensity is passing in the north, and a very shallow depression is advancing across the Tasman Sea. There has been a sharp rise in pressure, however over Eastern Australia. Forecast: Light and freshening northerly winds prevailing, but a change to southerlies during tomorrow. Weather fine at first, but scattered showers probable later, with the southerly change. Temperatures moderate, but cooler tomorrow.
