DISPERSAL SALE

COWS AVERAGE £lO 16s. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report: We held our first clearing sale of the season yesterday, when we offered dairy herd, sheep, implements and sundries on behalf of Mr J. Brydon, of Tauherenikau, Featherston. There was a very big attendance and we have to report a most satisfactory sale. The dairy herd, which comprised well-bred ’Jerseys, all early calvers, met with very spirited competition, the top price being £l4. Very few cows did not make £lO and the entire herd averaged £lO 16s. Sheep made late values. Implements and sundries sold well and made prices well up to expectations.
