HARRIER ACTIVITIES
MASTERTON CLUB EARLY RUN TOMORROW So that harriers may have an opportunity of seeing the Indian Hockey team in action tomorrow, the Masterton Club’s run will begin at 1.45 p.m. The Club will be represented at the Dannevirke Rally by J. Baikie (manager), I Shaw, C. Wright, H. Harris, G. Frederickson, H. Carle, G. Gregory. The bus will leave from the National Bank of New Zealand buildings at mid-day.

As usual only the same three or four dependable members have been training during the week. Next Monday a new schedule will be ready for the use of members, and improvement should be evident in the running of the keener members of the club. KAITERE CLUB VISIT TO DANNEVIRKE Members of the Kiatere Harrier Club will travel to Dannevirke on Saturday to compete in the annual harrier rally. The trip will be made by private cars. The rally this season is attracting large entries in both races. The A grade event is being started at 3 p.m. and the B grade at 3.10 p.m. The following have been selected to represent the club: — A Team—W. Burgess, A. Burns (captain), W. Burns, R. Greeks, A. McDonald, W. McDonald. B. Team—C. Bell, B. Fallpon, J. Laing, A. L. McDonald (captain), R. Serancke, B. Stewart.
B2 team—D. Askew, J. L. Burns, W. Burns, O. Gaskin (captain), P. Gaskin, D. Nelson, .. v . .> ... ■■■
