DELAY DENIED
THE TASMAN AIR SERVICE FLYING-BOATS UNDER CONSTRUCTION CANBERRA, June 8. Replying to a question in the House of Representatives relating to a New Zealand complaint of delay in the Tasman air service, the Minister of Defence, Mr H. V. C. Thorby, said there was no question of delay because no time had been fixed for starting the service.
He added that the necessary flyingboats were under construction, but there was no company at present prepared to run the service.
