Yesterday’s depression has passed away eastward and an anticyclone of slight intensity is approaching across the north Tasman Sea. A fresh though only shallow depression has already passed Tasmania. Forecast: Light to moderate west to south-west winds prevailing. Weather mainly fine but a few isolated showers at first in high country. Cold night temperatures with some frosts.
