MARTINBOROUGH

RADIO CLUB EUCHRE TOURNAMENT.

(“Times-Age” Special.)

The winners of the Radio Club euchre tournament held last evening were: Ladies, Mrs F. Holland 1, Miss Whaitiwhaiti 2. Men: Mr Reg. Feist 1, Mr W. Shore 2. x WEDDING. HAYMAN—BONIS. The marriage took place in the Presbyterian Church, Martinborough, on Monday afternoon of Alice Daphne, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs John Bonis,'of Greytown, to Thomas Wilfred, second son of Mr and Mrs T. Hayman, of Martinborough. The ceremony was performed by the Rev John Mann and Mrs Mann presided at the organ.

The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Mr W. Bonis, wore a graceful gown of white satin cut on classical lines and falling into a becoming train. The neckline was high with a roll collar, and a spray of orange blossom was worn on the corsage. She wore a tulle veil lent by Mrs W. Bonis, which was caught by a halo of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of white autumn flowers.

Miss Esther Dunning, of Wellington, was the bridesmaid. She wore a redingote of blue net over floral, < a blue bandeau trimmed with flowers in her hair and carried a bouquet to tone.

The bridegroom was supported by Mr George Brasell, Jnr. After the ceremony relations were received by Mrs J. Bonis and Mrs Hayman in Mrs W. Bonis’s home. Mrs John Bonis, mother of the bride, wore a navy ensemble and carried a red posy. Mrs Hayman wore a navy blue costume and also carried a red posy. The bride’s sister-in-law, Mrs W. Bonis, was wearing a navy blue frock under a coat with a hat to match.

When Mr and Mrs Hayman left for their home in Wellington the bride was wearing a bottle green suit and accessories. .- rT - •
