LONG FLIGHT
HONOLULU TO NEW GUINEA. AN EXPLORER'S VENTURE. HONOLULU, June 7. Richard Archbold took off from Pearl Harbour on a 1990-mile flight to Wake Island, as a further stage in his flight to New Guinea, where he intends to remain two years collecting mammalogical specimens. His plane, which cost 250.000 dollars. has a cruising range of 4000 miles.
