STILL JOVIAL
VON LUCKNER ON SYDNEY RECEPTION.
‘DID NOT COME TO TALK POLITICS.”
SYDNEY, June 7.
Despite the noisy reception Count von Luckner received at the Town Hall, where he was hooted by a section of his audience, he maintains a jovial mood aboard his yacht. “I know my Australians,” he said. "Poof, I take no notice of them. I did not come here to talk politics. They, not I, talked politics.” Count von Luckner’s Melbourne lectures have also been cancelled.
