POLICE SEARCH CONTINUES NEAR KAWHIA (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 7. The search by the police for Dalu Desai, the missing Indian store assistant, at Taharoa, near Kawhia, still continues. Favoured with fine weather, the police are strenuously undertaking the dragging of the lake and the combing of neighbouring sandhills. Today the Commissioner of Police. Mr D. J. Cummings, accompanied by Inspector Lopdell, officer in charge of the Hamilton police district, visited the settlement of Taharoa, and conferred with Detective White, who is supervising the investigations.
