BIG PROGRAMME OF LAND SETTLEMENT. (British Official Wireless). (Recd This Day, 10.23 a.m.) RUGBY, June 6. The officer administering the Government of Jamaica announced in Kingston the immediate inauguration throughout the island of a programme of land settlement involving an expenditure of £500,000 as soon as normal conditions are restored.
