"The Times” Cape Town correspondent says Cape Peninsula members of Parliament have announced their satisfaction with the explanations of the omission of “God Save the King” from the Union Day ceremonies. General Hertzog asserted that there was no intention to slight English sentiment. The matter has ngw been dropped.
