Miss Molly McKenna, of Wellington, is on a visit to Masterton.
Mrs H. Matthews, of Lansdowne, was a week-end visitor to Wanganui. Mr and Mrs J. F. Roberts, Bunny Street, Masterton, spent the week-end in Wanganui. Mr and Mrs M. McKay, Cornwall Street, Masterton, who have been on a visit to Napier, are to return today. Mrs J. Mundy, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs G. G. Hancox, of Masterton.
Mr and Mrs J. S. Stratton, of Christchurch, who were on a visit to Masterton, returned home today. At the home of Mr and Mrs J. Elwin, Makomako, a combined birthday party was tendered by their parents to Mr W. and Miss Betty Elwin (whose birthdays fall on the same day). A large number of young people assembled, visitors being present from Wellington, Wairarapa and Palmerston North, and a very enjoyable evening was spent.
