MAN ELECTROCUTED

TRAGEDY AT WIRELESS STATION

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 6. The senior technician at the 3YA wireless transmitting station at Gebbies Pass, Robert Bruce Allan, aged 30 was electrocuted some time between 10 o’clock last night and 6 o’clock this morning. His body was found at the station shortly after 6 a.m. today by another employee who was taking over. Mr Allan received a fatal shock of 240 volts while making some adjustments to the equipment, according to Mr J. McKenzie, station director. Mr Allan was married and is survived by a wife and child who live at the station.
