HARRIER ACTIVITIES

KIATERE CLUB’S RUN There was a good attendance of runners at the training run, held by the Kiatere Harrier Club, from the Solway Showgrounds on Saturday. The course was a two-lap one of a total distance of 6.1 miles. The runners were all started together, and in view of the Dannevirke Harrier Rally next Saturday, a solid pace was set throughout. A pleasing feature was the way in which the runners paired off and the general improvement in form. The fastest time was registered by R. Greeks and W. Burns, who deadheated.
