' “THE BIG SHOW.” At the Cosy Theatre tonight there will be presented to patrons a programme of excellent pictures, headed by “The Big Show,” an outstanding production and featuring one of the most popular stars to ever appear in the screen, Gene Autry. “The Big Show” is the first picture to introduce to New Zealand audiences Gene Autry, the singing cowboy sensation and the most popular star on the screen today. The picture gives Autry an outstandingly good opportunity to present several new song hits in his inimitable style. The second feature is “White Bondage,” in which the leading roles are taken by Jeati Muir and Gordon Oliver. At the matinee tomorrow Chapter 9 of the “Secret Agent X-9,” will be shown.
