CHURCH SERVICES
Tomorrow the Youth Campaign services will be conducted by a Wellington team of six members in St Matthew’s Church. At 4 p.m. three young men and three young women will give the challenge of the campaign and speak of what religion means to them. A Youth tea will follow in the Parish Hall, and the campaign will end with a special service at 7 p.m.. when the speaker will be the Rev F. A. Tooley, leader of the visiting team. In the Methodist Church tomorrow morning a sermon of instruction on "The Miracle of Our Bible” will be given by the Rev Fred. J. Parker, who will illustrate his address by means of a chart. The junior choir will lead the singing. At the evening service the subject will be “Our Charter of Freedom." The service of Holy Communion will follow at 8 p.m. At Kuripuni Methodist Church in the morning Pastor C. H. Skuse will take as his subject "The Purpose of Public Worship.” dealing with the popular belief that public worship is not essential to Christian service. At 7 p.m. the subject to be dealt with is “The Extravagance of God’s Great Love.”
