MEETING AT OPAKI (“Times-Age” Special) The monthly meeting of the Opaki Women’s Institute was held last Thursday in the grounds of Mrs Wingate’s home. Miss Buick presided over a good attendance. Her stay there was very enjoyable indeed, but on landing in England she felt quite at home. Mrs Miller said everywhere the New Zealanders were made welcome, showing how the Great War had brought the peoples of England and New Zealand closer together. Time did not permit Mrs Miller to finish her talk, and members are looking forward to a further visit to Ojaki in the near future. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Miller.
