GOVERNMENT PROTECTION STATEMENT BY MINISTER (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ■WELLINGTON, This Day. The intention of the Government to afford every possible protection to vol-untarily-formed bobby calf pools during the coming season was announced last evening by the Minister of Marketing, the Hon W. Nash. He said he had arranged for the Internal Marketing Division to be given authority to enable it to give protection in any defined area in which at least 80 per cent of the producers furnish written evidence of their desire to form such a pool.
