Pat O’Brien has been featured and starred in thirty-four motion pictures during his film career, but he has just registered his first screen death. Pat has to perish, supposedly a fall from a 150-foot steel high tension line tower, in “Slim,” William Wister Haines’ spectacular story about linesmen. It is the feature attraction at the Regent Theatre next week. To capture a bit of “atmosphere” Pat O'Brien spent four days in a camp of the ctontractor who is building the line to carry electrical energy from Boulder Dam to Los Angeles. “Slim” co-stars Henry Fonda and Margaret Lindsay.
