BILLIARDS AND SNOOKER
Y.M.C.A. CUP COMPETITION. Playing in the Y.M.C.A. billiard and snooker competition last night Catholic Club defeated the Y.M.C.A. A team by 8 games to 2. In the billiards contest the games resulted as follow (Catholic Club players mentioned first in every case): J. Moynahan beat G. Coleman. H. Keen beat A. McWhinnie, R. Remini beat J. Coleman, W. Green lost to R. Henry, J. Curry lost to W. Clarke. In the snooker contest Catholic Club won all the games. The draw for forthcoming games is as follows: Thursday next: Y.M.C.A. B v Post Office. Tuesday, June 14: Daniell’s v Pioneers. Thursday, June 16: Y.M.C.A. A v Oddfellows.
