GUDENBERG NOT ARRESTED AT CHERBOURG. WILL BE HANDED OVER TO POLICE IN HAMBURG. (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) CHERBOURG, June 2. The police did not attempt to arrest Weiber Gudenberg 'on the arrival of the liner Hamburg. The ship's officers announced that Gudenberg would be handed over to the Hamburg police. Gudenberg, who is regarded as an important witness in pending espionage trials in the United States, escaped from surveillance. A warrant was issued for his arrest at Cherbourg.
