MASTERTON SEAT

ADDRESS BY MR ROBERTSON AT TARATAHI WEST. Mr J. Robertson, member for Masterton, met settlers of the district at the Taratahi West School last night. In the absence of the school chairman, Mr E. Rayner presided. Mr Robertson, in the course of his address, surveyed the work of the Labour Party since it had taken office. He was given an attentive hearing. although there were some interjections when the guaranteed price and the proposed social security scheme were being discussed. On the motion of the chairman, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr Robertson for his address.
