Constable N. D. Bach, formerly of Wellington, has taken up duty in Masterton.
Mi- H. W. C. Mackintosh. Commissioner of Crown Lands fur the Wellington district, visited Masterton today.. Mr C. E. Power, first assistant of the Kiritaki Dairy Co.. Danncvirke, lias secured his manager's certificate. The death occurred on Monday at the Pahiatua Hospital of Mrs Harriet Ann Whitta. a former resident of Conoor, at the age of 85 years. The Hon H. T. Armstrong. Minister of Labour, left Wellington for Auckland by the Limited express last night. The Minister, who will be absent from Wellington for about a fortnight, will deliver public addresses at Otahuhu. Waihi, Te Aroha, Cambridge, Otoro- ' ansa. Taihape and Feilding.
