Best North Island Xbd. Lambs, 28/ 361bs„ 7Jd; 36/42, 7 3-Bd. North Island second quality lambs, av. 30/31 lbs, 7}d. Best North Island Wether Sheep, under 481bs„ 5 7-8 d; 48-561b5,.5Jd; 56/641bs 5 l-8d; 64/721bs, sd. North Island Ewes, under 48 lbs., 4dt 48/561bs, 3 3-8 d; 56/641bs, 3}d; 64/721bs, 3 l-Bd. N.Z. Prime Ox Beef, 160/220, none offering. Compared with last week’s quotations, second quality lambs were l-8d per lb lower; wethers 56/721bs, l-8d per lb higher, ewes 48/56, l-8d per lb lower. Others unchanged. The market is steady.
