The enthusiastic field of followers included Mrs R. Cundy on Scottie, Misses M. Martin on Blotto, N. Booth on Justice, J. Beetham on Santa, B. Vallance on Rainbow, N. Morrison on White Wings, M. Morrison on Silver, R. Riddiford on The Moor, I. Barton on Rogue, M. Perry on Paul, I. Bennett on Sally, R. Jury on Lady, A. Harding on Makiri, Corlett on a bay, H. Murfitt on a grey, B. Barton on Jill, P. Bidwill on Paddy, S. Maunsell on Phoebe, H. Martin on Celebration, S. Holmes on a chestnut, B. Holmes on Mittie, J. Collins on a black. Messrs P. Tilson (master), on Double Red, T. Tully on Dusky, F. Skeet on Coronation, D. Vallana on Titian, T. Vallance on Roger, and D. Collins on Tip Toes. The large attendance of spectators had a splendid view of the run, from the top of a hill accessible by car.
