ESTABLISHED BY FLOYD ROBERTS. INDIANAPOLIS, May 31. Floyd Roberts, aged 38, smashed records to win the twenty-sixth 500mile speedway classic. His time was 41ir. 15min. 582-ssecs„ averaging 117.2 miles an hour, compared with the previous record of 113.58 miles an hour of Wilbur Shaw, last year's winner, who today was second. Roberts wins 20,000 dollars and Shaw 10,000 dollars.
