FASHIONS BREEZE
THE LATEST IDEAS. For travelling wear a cape-jacket with large navy and blue-grey squares over a tailored ink blue frock o£ woollen crepe. Very Grecian is an evening gown in pearl grey jersey, the draped bodice of which is secured at the shoulders and at the waist by a silver metal chain. For winter days choose a coat of Directoire inspiration, in mustard yellow woollen with a small astrakhan collar and two large buttons to match. Revillon combines white Russian ermine and natural Canadian mink with brilliant effect in a swinging evening cloak to wear on cooler evenings over a black crepe gown slim-fitting, and flaring into lovely lines below the knee. With a tailleur in navy blue woollen cloth, double-breasted and wide-lap-elled, wear a flower in white pique to match a white cravat. Black is ever taking pride of place for elegance, and nothing could be smarter for autumn days than a fine black wool jacket and skirt, eyeletembroidered in patent leather, with a gilet of blue. A vivid bodice, and a scarf held by a huge clip to one shoulder, transform an ordinary black crepe frock into something rich and new.
