COMPTROLLER OF STORES

MR S. S. MILLINGTON RETIRES (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr S. S. Millington, Comptroller of Stores in the Railways Department, has retired on superannuation and is succeeded by Mr F. M. Muir, who has been Assistant-Comptroller for the past five years. In making the announcement, the Minister of Railways (the Hon D. G. Sullivan) extends the thanks of the Government and himself, as Minister, for the excellent work of Mr Millington as Comptroller and also for his good work as chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Stores Control Board.
