GOLD MINING RETURNS The Mataki dredge return for the week ended May 29 was 40 oz. for 132 hours’ work and 10,000 cubic yards. The Goldfields Dredging Company advises a return of 15oz. for one week’s dredging. Gillespie’s Beach advises a wash-up for the week ended May 27 of 41oz for 119 hours. The Okarito dredge reports a washup of 330 z for 1051 hours.
